Mesh & Polymer Retro Mecha Lower Face Protection System, Black

Most airsoft masks are divided into one-piece or two-piece types, and this Retro Mecha Lower Face Protection System from Wosport is part of the latter. This one doesn’t come with any eye protection, as the company intends for the owner to use separate products alongside it. Even so, it’s a very trusty and reliable mask.

The lower mask protects your nose and mouth in practically all directions, preventing any incoming fire from hurting these parts. It covers the front of the nose to the eyebrow level for maximum protection.

Most of the mask’s components are a rugged black nylon polymer, as it makes for a lighter accessory. However, three locations use steel mesh instead. The mouth is protected this way, along with two cuts near the cheek.

Wosport uses steel mesh so that your breath doesn’t fog up any eye protection you may use. The mesh also allows for clear speech, essential for communication in the middle of a firefight. This material is stronger than the nylon polymer, making it the perfect choice.

When you put this mask on, it won’t interfere with upper face protection, though you should also take care to get something that isn’t too large. You can also put on a helmet for extra safety, though it isn’t included in the package.

Wosport attached four adjustable straps onto the mask, allowing users to make any adjustments for the perfect fit.

This lower face mask won’t bog you down when you need to move since it weighs only 0.8 pounds. You may even forget it’s there.

Wosport Tactical Piloteer Bump Helmet Mask with Adapter, Tan

This Wosport Tactical Piloteer Bump Helmet Mask is a complete set of face protection designed for airsoft games. The mask isn’t assembled when you first unbox it, but it can be done in a few steps. Simply attach the mask to the helmet, and you’re good to go.

The helmet is made of TPU, a light and solid material highly effective at preventing BBs from hurting your head. The top also has several holes for ventilation, allowing sweat to evaporate and keep you cool.

Since it’s built like a pilot’s helmet, the design is stylish and modern, a perfect fit for any operator going for the latest loadouts.

As for the mask, it has many holes all over the front surface. You can easily breathe while keeping the lens fog-free. The area around the lens also has some ventilation holes.

Wosport designed the mask to have interchangeable lenses, so you can quickly replace broken ones with new lenses. They’re made of PC, a rigid and transparent material used in industrial applications. An airsoft gun won’t damage this polymer easily.

Stress-testing has resulted in this tactical helmet and mask combo receiving a passing mark on the ANSI Z80.3 drop ball test. The components also work in adverse temperatures, such as 14 degrees to 107 degrees Fahrenheit.

The helmet has slots for a range of tactical equipment, with the most prominent one being helmet cams. The front has a designated space for these devices, allowing users to capture all the battlefield footage for review.

Of course, Wosport ensures that the helmet and mask come with adjustable straps. These are essential for a comfortable fit, as any ill-fitting gear will only slow you down.

Annex MI-7 Thermal Airsoft/Paintball Goggles, Black

Made by Valken Tactical, these MI-7 Thermal Airsoft/Paintball Goggles are an excellent choice for keeping your face protected. Though the name says “goggles,” they’re closer to a helmet in design. Nevertheless, you’re always going to stay safe when the paintballs or BBs fly.

The goggles are predominantly made of lightweight but durable polyethylene, and Valken Tactical uses injection molding for the best results. This example is in black, though you can also get it in olive drab and tan color schemes.

As for the lens, you get an anti-fogging double pane setup with a complete seal. The surface is treated with a hard coat layer to prevent scratches. What’s more, the design also lets you swap lenses quickly in case the current one breaks.

The lens has 260 degrees of horizontal visibility, while vertical visibility is around 160 degrees. You won’t have to move your head too much just to clear a space or spot enemies.

Wearing head and face protection can be hot, so Valken includes a layer of SBR foam for the face mask. This layer keeps you comfortable when wearing the goggles, while another layer of open-cell foam helps with wicking and even more comfort.

As these are complete-seal goggles, no outside moisture can infiltrate inside and reach your face. The visor is also anti-glare and glint.

Valken includes micro stitch straps at the back of the goggles to ensure a comfortable fit. The goggles shouldn’t move excessively as you traverse the airsoft arena. They should also be loose enough so they don’t feel constricted.

G-Force Modern Full Face Mask w/ Black Lens, Gray / Brown

This Modern Full Face Mask with Black Lens from G-Force will satisfy the needs of those who prefer minimalistic protection that doesn’t compromise personal safety. When paired with a helmet, you’re safer from incoming gunfire.

The most prominent feature is the black visor lens, extending from the eyebrow down to the lower face. The visor is designed to increase the maximum field of view for horizontal and vertical angles. That way, you can stay alert of your surrounding at all times.

While not noticeable, the visor actually sports a dual-pane lens. This design is excellent against fogging, as both panes are isolated from each other. Without hindered vision, you can expect to see everything no matter what.

Thanks to the vents near the nose and mouth area, the lens doesn’t fog up easily, even when the user is breathing hard. You can also run without worry as the airflow is enough for strenuous activity.

G-Force uses a dense polymer for impact resistance, as the material is strong enough even when made this thin. Some parts like the frame are made of rubber instead, as it helps make wearing the face mask more comfortable.

A single adjustable strap at the back is present to let users of all head sizes wear the full face mask. With proper adjustments, anyone can achieve a complete seal.

This face mask will offer full mouth, nose, eye, and ear protection once you put it on securely. However, it doesn’t reduce battlefield noise, so you may have to wear earplugs inside.

This variant has black and brown colors. With this combination, you can stay hidden in darker areas.
